Philippine Professional Organization – Saudi Arabia (PPO-SA) Kicks Off Sports Festival 2025 with Grand Opening

The Philippine Professional Organization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (PPO-SA) officially launched the sports Festival 2025 on September 26, 2025, at IPSA KSA.

This year’s highly anticipated event brings together twelve (12) professional organizations, proudly representing their disciplines: IIEE-ERCSA, NAMPAP-SA, NOPTI-ERSA, PICPA KSA-EP, UAP KSA-EPC, PNA-ERSA, PICE-EPSA, PAMET-ERSA, PSME-SA, FDKSA-ER, PSART, and IECEP KSA-ERC.

The IECEP KSA-ERC made its presence felt during the opening ceremony, with representation from its former governors, 2025 Board of Trustees, and dedicated members.

The festivities began with a grand parade of organizations, led by their respective presidents and highlighted by their stunning muses—truly the “icing on the cake” that added flair and elegance to the event.

PPO KSA-ER President Darwin Santiago Majid set the tone with his rousing welcome remarks, emphasizing that the festival stands as a celebration of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and professionalism. He also acknowledged the dynamic leadership of Sports Chairman Ronald Manengo, whose enthusiasm promises a memorable season.

A symbolic lighting of the torch and the Oath of Sportsmanship followed, solemnly witnessed by officials from MWO/OWWA and supported by the unwavering sponsorship of Skyland Company, represented by Mr. Zaldy Fetalco.

The competitive spirit came alive as the first basketball match between PICE-EPSA and PSME-SA unfolded, with PICE-EPSA securing a decisive victory—a strong statement of their championship intent.

The second match between IECEP KSA-ERC and NAMPAP-SA was equally intense. Despite IECEP’s formidable lineup, NAMPAP-SA’s undeniable chemistry and teamwork gave them the edge, handing IECEP a tough but valuable lesson in cohesion and strategy.

Overall, the successful Opening Ceremony of the PPO Sports Festival 2025 was a resounding showcase of unity, talent, and passion. With the energy of the kick-off, the excitement of the initial games, and the anticipation for what lies ahead, one thing is certain—the best is yet to come.
