IECEP KSA-ERC Holds Oath-Taking and Turnover Ceremony for 2026 Board of Trustees

Leaders of the past, present, and incoming officers of the IECEP KSA Eastern Region Chapter (IECEP KSA-ERC) gathered with pride and unity for the formal turnover and oath-taking ceremony of the 2026 Board of Trustees. Despite its modest size, the organization once again demonstrated its strong spirit of solidarity, offering full support and encouragement to the new Board led by Governor Engr. Teofilo C. Bitoon Jr.

The program commenced with a thanksgiving prayer, paying reverence to the Almighty and setting a tone of gratitude, joy, and fulfillment.

These sentiments were echoed in the heartfelt welcome message delivered by 2025 Governor Engr. Johnel Corpuz, who reflected on the achievements of his administration and expressed confidence in the incoming leadership.
Former governors also graced the occasion, generously sharing their experiences, leadership insights, and the motivations that sustained their unwavering service to the organization. Their words served as a source of encouragement and reassurance to the new Board, inspiring them to carry forward the organization’s legacy.

Among those present were Engr. Francis Lubuguin (2015), Engr. Jose Espinosa Jr. (2016), Engr. Jeffrey Conciso (2019), Engr. Melvin Landicho (2020), Engr. Mohammad Ali Mauna (2023), and Engr. Reginald Cadahing (2024).

A highlight of the ceremony was the inspirational message delivered by the Labor Attaché, Hon. Solaiman Mutia, an enthusiastic supporter of the organization. His words reinforced the importance of leadership, service, and commitment, strengthening the resolve of the newly elected officers.
This was followed by the formal administration of the oath of office, marking the official assumption of duties of the 2026 Board of Trustees.

The officers who pledged their commitment to serve included Engr. Teofilo C. Bitoon Jr. (Governor), Engr. Kelvin F. Cano (Vice Governor for Internal Affairs), Engr. Jonas V. Calayag (Vice Governor for External Affairs), Engr. Arlie P. Villanueva (Vice Governor for Education), Engr. Richard V. Sadinasn (Secretary), Engr. Ding R. Costales (Treasurer), Engr. Arniel R. Nambatac (Auditor), Engr. Jeffrey C. Mangoba (Director for Membership), Engr. Anthony P. Velasco (Director for Planning and Programs), Engr. Jimmel Magtubo Sr. (Director for Honors and Awards), Mr. Tito R. Oberio I (Chairman for Ways and Means), Engr. Michael G. Florin (Chairman for Sports), Mr. Jolan Ricablanca (Chairman for Logistics), Mr. Almire Camota (Chairman for Corporate and Social Responsibility), Engr. Melvin D. Landicho (Chairman for ETEEAP), Engr. Jeffrey Conciso (Chairman for Advance Level Engineering), and Engr. Mohammad Ali Mauna (Chairman for Professional Level Upgrade).

In a symbolic gesture of trust and continuity, outgoing Governor Engr. Johnel Corpuz formally turned over the leadership to Governor Engr. Teofilo C. Bitoon Jr., expressing his full confidence in the new administration. Governor Bitoon, in accepting the responsibility, affirmed his commitment to uphold the vision and mission of IECEP KSA-ERC and to lead the organization toward greater achievements.

A forum followed immediately after the ceremony, providing an avenue for the new officers to discuss key issues, priorities, and plans for the coming year. The exchange of ideas reflected the Board’s shared determination to address past challenges and implement programs that will further benefit the members and strengthen the organization.

The event reached its pinnacle with the stirring closing remarks of the 2026 IECEP KSA‑ERC Governor, Engr. Teofilo Bitoon Jr., whose message resonated with pride, purpose, and renewed commitment. The evening then transitioned into a warm fellowship dinner, where members and leaders gathered in unity to honor the achievement and celebrate the milestone together.


The ceremony not only marked a transition of leadership but also reaffirmed the unity, dedication, and optimism that continue to drive IECEP KSA-ERC toward a promising future.
